CASH FOR CLOTHES

Dear Parents and Friends,

We want your unwanted clothes, shoes and other textiles….

We are teaming up with European Textile Recycling to help raise funds at Chasetown Youth Football Club. To do this we would like your help. We are asking all parents and other family members to gather together all their unwanted usable, wearable clothes and textiles.

The items that can be put in to the bags are any wearable clothes and shoes. You can also fill your bags with handbags and belts, hats, gloves, basically any wearable items.   

The vast bulk of textiles sourced in theUKfrom recycling schemes, go for

re-use in poorer countries where buying new clothes is not an option for many disadvantaged families and individuals. That is why we ask people to ensure all textiles donated to raise funds are clean and wearable.

European Textiles will weigh the clothes and the club will be paid for every kilo that is collected. £500 per tonne, one tonne is around 180 full black bags of textiles.

Please ask your teams coach for a bag or 2 but any other plastic bags will do just so long as it do not belong to another charity, as we will  not be able to accept it.
