Chasetown Colts Under 9's deservedly finished as runners up in Division 3, and despite a little blip in the early part of 2008, they put together a stunning 7 match winning run starting with the win at AFC Cannock Town in March, to storm to the final runners up spot by the end of April. Their last game of the season summed up their season when playing with no pressure at all, as they were already guaranteed runners up spot, they destroyed Sutton Utd 5-1 with a commanding performance, so on top were they that they even missed a penalty!.
The team as a whole started to develop as footballers during this season, and also had a fantastic team spirit which they were to take into their final season at under 10s.
