The team had been going for 3 years as Brownhills Community Colts but we were looking to join a new club. A club, that could provide good prospects for the lads and a natural progression into professional football. We approached a few local teams but after discussing the findings with the players and parents we all felt that Chasetown FC would be the most suitable and decided to start the 2009/2010 season with CFC. At the time, I was thinking about when we started at 11 a side, in May 09 we only had 5 players available due to others leaving or not wanting to play for BCCFC anymore which meant that the team would fold at the end of 2009/2010 season. The lads had been with me for 4 years and I did not want that to happen so we begun to search for a way to progress Chasetown asked us to join their youth set up and we agreed, since joining another 7 players have come to us and we now have a squad of 12 to take us into the next season.
